Miss Killea takes over - Fossils and the Geologic Timeline
1. Warm-up and new seats assigned - students find the index card with their name at their new seat.
The index card also has a term related to topics in the third quarter on it.
For HW students will define the term and provide an example and/or picture of the term.
Students will "teach their term" when appropriate as we move through the unit.
2. Video with questions and discussion on fossils as evidence for evolution
3. Introduce geologic timescale
Geologic timeline activity - create scale model of geologic timeline in groups
